Taupō Art Connection Inc is an inclusive arts group formed to bring independent visual artists of the Taupō district together. It represents a commitment to creating a vibrant, active arts community that benefits artists and ensures a fulfilling arts experience for visitors to the region.

From the professional to the enthusiastic hobbyist, from painters to sculptors and printmakers, the group provides the opportunity for artists and art lovers to socialise, network, share and encourage each other creatively.

In 2019 we will meet socially on the second Wednesday of each month at the Taupō Cosmopolitan Club.

TAC CHAT - A SPECIAL EVENT

A NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM

WEDNESDAY MAY 8 2019 from 5:30pm


 Enjoy refreshments and cake with the committee in celebration of the upcoming Taupō Art Connection Queen's Birthday Weekend Art Trail. Now in it's seventh year it is set to be one of the most successful to date with over thirty artists showcasing a diverse range of work. We invite the artists and their supporters to share this amazing milestone.  

Art Trail signage, brochures, and posters will be available for artists and galleries to collect at this event.

This exhibition follows on from the Lost Songs series which focused on birds that have become extinct. Focusing on the birds that we have to day, Lianne hopes to make people aware of their existence as well as their vulnerability.

OUR BIG WEEKEND OF ART

QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY WEEKEND ART TRAIL

MAY 31 - JUNE 3 2019

A wonderful lineup of talented artists new to Taupō Art Connection Art Trail along with our popular and creative regulars who have been the backbone of the Queen's Birthday Weekend Art Trail over its lifetime makes 2019 set to be one of our most successful years. A combination of professional and emerging artists will showcase their work over the four day weekend.
