Our seventh Queen's Birthday Art Trail was a great success with record numbers of visitors interacting with artists and galleries. A heartfelt thank you to all the participating artists especially the art trail newbies who took the opportunity to show case their work. We thank you for your enthusiasm and excitment , which rubbed off on us all, including the visitors to our studio's. We hope you enjoyed the experience and will want to repeat it next year. To the old hands, the backbone of the art trail, thank you for continuing to support this event because without out you it would not have been possible.
Thanks to our generous sponsors - Creative Community schemes and Creative Taupō, Sotherby's International Realty, MPB Advisors + Accountants for supporting our efforts to maintain and grow this event as a showcase for the visual arts in the Taupō district.
Thanks to our community partner Taupō Museum and our fellow art groups - Active Arts and Pihanga Art Collective for joining us and making 2019 an art trail to be proud of.
Thanks to all the visitors, both local and out of town who took the time to attend, interact with the artists and discover the amazing talent that made up the 2019 Queens Birthday Weekend Art Trail.
The art trail continues with the distribution of the Taupō Art Connection Inc DL cards promoting local artists and galleries - distributed for the next twelve months across Taupō motels and hotels as well as the i-Site and the Museum.
