Taupo Art Connection is an inclusive arts group formed to bring independent Taupo region visual artists together.  From the professional to the enthusiastic hobbyist, from painters to sculptors and printmakers, the group provides the opportunity for artists and art lovers to socialise, network, share and encourage each other creatively. The group represents a commitment to creating a vibrant, active arts community that benefits artists and ensures a fulfilling arts experience for visitors to the region.

  TAC Chat - 5.30pm Wednesday 2 May


Our May TAC Chat will be held at Red Rock Gallery, featuring Sally-Ann Davies's exhibition Printmaking and Wine.

Join us for a casual, friendly evening to meet and mingle with other artists. Find out about Red Rock Gallery and it's a last chance to see Sally-Ann's fabulous woodcuts from her art residency in Tuscany.

Includes painting, pottery, and fibre art where the artists work within the confines of only 3 colours.


I Don't Know / Tell Me: SeeSaw and SaySay

Chris Eyes shares “works of innocence” inspired by and at times in cahoots with his daughter Sadie Rose (4).

This unique exhibition is playful, imaginative and interactive.

 ART COMPETITION Call for Entries

Taupo Winter Festival is calling for entries for this year's art competition:

"Linking the Lakes: Taupō and Taihu (Suzhou)", celebrating the 10th anniversary of sister cities, Taupō and Suzhou, China.

It is an open competition for artists 16 years and over.
