Taupo Art Connection is an inclusive arts group formed to bring independent Taupo region visual artists together. From the professional to the enthusiastic hobbyist, from painters to sculptors and printmakers, the group provides the opportunity for artists and art lovers to socialise, network, share and encourage each other creatively. The group represents a commitment to creating a vibrant, active arts community that benefits artists and ensures a fulfilling arts experience for visitors to the region.

TAC Chat - 5.30pm Wednesday 4 July
It's TAC's 6th anniversary and midwinter dinner at Suncourt Hotel.
Join us for a casual, friendly evening to meet and mingle with other artists at the Lake Bistro, Suncourt Hotel.
There will be a set 2-course menu with a variety of options available, including vegetarian, etc. Cost $40 per person.
Mark the date - TAC's first AGM Wednesday 15 August at 5.30pm. More soon.

To our artists who opened their studios and to all the wonderful visitors who all made this event such a success!

RAFFLE - will now be at Active Arts for their open day and Taupo Winter Festival 13 - 15 July. $5 a ticket. Prize - a fabulous Richard Adams abstract painting framed by Rod Rankin at Studio40. Proceeds will go towards are shared event for both Active Arts and Taupo Art Connection.
Taupo Winter Festival 2018
There's something for everyone to join in or be entertained by at Taupo Winter Festival 11 - 15 July.
An action packed programme that's a celebration of arts culture and family fun over the July school holidays.
The master planners - Warren & Mahoney combined with BoffanMiskell - have been selected.
The master plan will be developed over the coming months, to be shared prior to Christmas this year. A Long Term Plan amendment will be out for public consultation early 2019.
