Taupō Art Connection  is an inclusive arts group formed to bring independent visual artists of the Taupō district together. It represents a commitment to creating a vibrant, active arts community that benefits artists and ensures a fulfilling arts experience for visitors to the region.

From the professional to the enthusiastic hobbyist, from painters to sculptors and printmakers, the group provides the opportunity for artists and art lovers to socialise, network, share and encourage each other creatively.

In 2019 we will meet socially on the second Wednesday of each month at the Taupō Cosmopolitan Club.

CONNECTING THROUGH ART


This social event happens on the second Wednesday of each month. Our members meet at the Taupō Cosmopolitan Club from 5:30pm for a casual friendly evening of mixing and mingling with fellow artists and art lovers. The Taupō Cosmopolitan Club offer affordable snacks and refreshments. Saturday September 28 at 11 am - A presentation by Arts Access Aotearoa's Richard Benge 'Arts in Corrections, in New Zealand and internationally' .

Contemporary New Zealand Art

Open to all New Zealand artists – both emerging and established. Selected artists will be paid, receive sample calendars and have access to wholesale prices (to sell/gift).
Calendars are sold throughout New Zealand at all the usual stockists.

Expressions of interest closes: Friday 8 November 2019, 5 pm.
